The Local Lather Hair Studio opened in October 2020, by Lauren and Craig Schwoeppe. Their vision on "The Local Lather", was to be a part of Huntingburgs' stellar community, and being all about LOCAL. They transformed the old service garage, that formerly housed a salon, into a homey and inviting space for stylists, and the community of Dubois and surrounding counties, to enjoy for years to come.

We serve the community of Dubois and surrounding counties with a laid back, fun, yet relaxing luxury salon experience, so that anyone that walks through the door feels welcomed and at home. Our stylists are dedicated to providing our clients with education, honesty, and authenticity, so that our clients can feel confident, valued, and cared for.
Vision
The Local Lather Hair Studio exists to provide an inviting environment for stylists to build their own unique business within a like-minded collaborative team through communication, authenticity, and education. We help our stylists reach their maximum potential by eliminating limited beliefs or glass ceilings, so that our stylists can have long term financial and personal growth, and long lasting client relationships.
