Lauren is the owner and founder of The Local Lather Hair Studio. She has been behind the chair since 2011 and opened The Local Lather in October 2020 with a vision of creating a salon centered around great hair, genuine relationships, and an experience where people can truly feel comfortable being themselves.

Lauren specializes in dimensional, natural-looking color and loves creating hair that works with her clients’ lifestyles. She believes great hair starts with communication, honesty, and truly understanding the person sitting in her chair. Building genuine relationships with her clients has always been one of her favorite parts of being a hairstylist.

Her approach behind the chair is relaxed, intentional, and fun. She wants every client to feel like their appointment is time they can genuinely enjoy without feeling rushed or like they’ve spent their entire day at the salon. You can expect plenty of conversation, honesty about what will work best for your hair, and someone who will always be in your corner and hype you up along the way.

As a stylist and salon owner, Lauren believes there is always more to learn. She is passionate about continuing her education, growing in her craft, and creating a salon where both clients and stylists can feel supported, connected, and confident.

Outside of the salon, Lauren is a wife and mom who loves spending time with her husband and daughter. And when she gets a little time to herself, you can usually find her catching up on reality TV, enjoying some much-needed downtime, or dreaming up her next idea for the salon.
